செப்டம்பர் 17 ஆம் தேதி விடுமுறை அறிவித்த தமிழக அரசு.

தமிழகத்தில் மிலாது நபி பண்டிகை செப்டம்பர் 17 ஆம் தேதி நடைபெறும் என தமிழக அரசின் காஜி அறிவுறுத்தி உள்ளார்.

இதன் காரணமாக தமிழ்நாட்டில் செப்டம்பர் 17 ஆம் தேதி விடுமுறை அறிவிக்கப்பட்டு இருக்கிறது.

இறை தூதரான முகம்மது நபியின் பிறந்த நாளான மிலாது நபி உலகெங்கும் உள்ள இஸ்லாமிய மக்கள் ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் மகிழ்ச்சியுடன் கொண்டாடி வருகின்றனர்.

இந்நிலையில் பிறை தெரியாததால், இந்த ஆண்டு மிலாது நபி செப்டம்பர் 17ஆம் தேதி கொண்டாடப்படும் என தமிழ்நாடு அரசின் தலைமை காஜி தெரிவித்தார்.

இதைத் தொடர்ந்து தான் தமிழக அரசு செப்டம்பர் 16 ஆம் தேதிக்கு பதிலாக செப்டம்பர் 17 ஆம் தேதி மிலாது நபி நாளில் விடுமுறை அறிவித்துள்ளது.

Public Holiday Holiday for Milad-un-Nabi declared on 17th September 2024 - under Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 Change in the date of observance of the festival -- Orders - Issued.

Read:

1. G.O.Ms.No.692, Public (Misc) Department, dated 09.11.2023.

2. The Chief Kazi to the Government of Tamil Nadu, Chennai, Ref No.C.K.24, dated: 04.09.2024.

ORDER:

In the Government Order first read above, the Government notified Monday, the 16th of September 2024 as a Public Holiday on account of Milad-un-Nabi under Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881.

2. In the letter 2nd read above, the Chief Kazi to Government of Tamil Nadu has stated that the moon was not sighted on 04th September 2024 and that the Milad-un-Nabi will be celebrated on 17.09.2024 (Tuesday) and requested to declare the public holiday on 17th September, 2024 instead of 16th September 2024. 3. The Government, after careful consideration of the request of the Chief Kazi to Government of Tamil Nadu and decided to declare 17.09.2024 (Tuesday) as a Public Holiday on account of Milad-un-Nabi instead of 16th September 2024 under Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881. Accordingly, the following Notification will be published in an extra-ordinary Gazette dated: 09.09.2024.

NOTIFICATION

4. Under the Explanation to Section 25 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 (Central Act XXVI of 1881) read with Notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs No.20-25-26, Public -1, dated 8th June 1957 the Government of Tamil Nadu hereby declares that 17th September, 2024 shall be a Public Holiday on account of Milad-un-Nabi instead of 16th September, 2024.

5. The above Public Holiday notified shall also apply to all State Government Undertakings / Corporations / Boards, etc.
