Date: 06.10.2025 It is informed that the SCERT, in coordination with Amar Seva Sangam-PMU, has developed a series of high-quality Sign Language videos to support inclusive education. The videos cover the following foundational topics:

1. Alphabets

2. Numbers

6. Months

3. Days of the Week

4. Colours

5. Greetings

7. Food Items

8. Family Members

9. Behaviours

10. Expressions

The SCERT has now made arrangements to telecast these videos through Kalvi TV from 10th November 2025 to 4th january 2026 as per the schedule detailed below.

In this regard, the Chief Educational Officers (CEOs) of all districts are requested to instruct all Headmasters, Teachers, Students, Block Resource Teacher Educators, Special Educators, Therapists, SRP centre staffs and Parents to view the above Sign Language programmes without fail and ensure that the information is effectively communicated to all concerned.

To facilitate maximum reach and convenience, the programme will be telecasted both in the morning and evening. Additionally, the videos will be uploaded in the official Kalvi TV YouTube channel, to have access the content at any time as per their need. Follow-up Instructions:

After watching the programme, Teachers, Block Resource Teacher Educators, Special Educators, and Therapists should motivate students to practice the demonstrated signs among all students, encouraging inclusive peer interaction.

All viewing sessions by Teachers, Block Resource Teacher Educators (BRC), Special Educators, Therapists, and Parents must be properly documented with high resolution videos and photographs at the school/BRC/Home levels for monitoring and documentation purposes at SPO.

The CEOs are therefore requested to disseminate this information to Headmasters of all schools under their jurisdiction and ensure active participation and proper documentation by all concerned.
