Teacher Recruitment: 445 Fake Applicants in Bihar
The Department of Education has found that 445 applicants have cheated in the recruitment of primary school teachers in Bihar.
Frauds were discovered while checking the documents submitted by the applicants during the consultation.
A total of 1,377 people have been selected for the post of primary school teacher. In it, state education minister Vijay Kumar Chowdhury said the documents of 932 applicants were correct and the applications of the remaining 445 had submitted suspicious documents.
In this regard, he further said,
We have asked the authorities to fully check the documents of the suspects at the CDET and TED offices. Besides, we are advised to check their university documents as well.
In Gopalganj alone, a maximum of 223 applicants submitted forged documents and suspiciously fraudulent documents during the consultation. In addition, 80 candidates each from East and West Sambaran districts, 38 each from Madhubani, 15 each from Nalanda, 3 each from Muzaffarpur and Nawada, 2 each from Bhojpur and 1 each from Kathihar and Sitamarhi districts have applied.
If convicted, an FIR will be registered against them under sections of the IPC relating to loading and fraud, Chaudhry said.
