In the reference letter cited above , it has been stated that the Club activities at the school level for classes 6 to 9 shall be carried out as per the academic calendar for the year 2024-25 in the periods allotted for the club activities up to the month of April 2025 . In the reference letter cited above, it has been stated that the Club activities at the school level for classes 6 to 9 shall be carried out as per the academic calendar for the year 2024-25 in the periods allotted for the club activities up to the month of April 2025.

Accordingly, the guidelines for conducting the activities and competition under Literary club and Quiz Club are as follows:

Literary Club

For the year 2024-25, every month one activity shall be conducted in the classroom as part of the literary club from September onwards. During the month of October, school-level literary competition shall be conducted. The teachers shall conduct the literary activity in any one week of the month, in the respective period allocated for clubs. The designated club In-charge teacher shall ensure that the teachers conduct these activities in all classes from 6 to 9, and that the school level literary competition is conducted in October, selecting totally 8 winners from the school for the literary club. The competition shall be conducted as per the dates given in the table below. The club in-charge teacher shall also ensure that the details of activities and competitions are entered in EMIS. The guidelines for EMIS entry is also given below. 1 Quiz Club Each month, one quiz activity shall be conducted in the classroom as part of the quiz club from September onwards. During the month of November, school-level Quiz competition shall be conducted.

Children are to read 'Thenchittu' magazine and newspaper regularly. The teachers shall create Quiz questions from Thenchittu magazine, general knowledge and current affairs from newspaper. For conducting the quiz activity in the classroom, the teacher shall divide the class into groups.
