The New India Literacy Programme (NILP) is a centrally sponsored scheme by the Government of India to cover all aspects of adult education from 2022–2027. The scheme aims to reach 5 crore non-literates aged 15 and above. The financial outlay for the five-year period is Rs. 1037.90 crore, with Rs. 700 crore from the center and Rs. 337.90 crore from the states. The scheme will be implemented through volunteerism and online mode.

29 Mar 2023 — Government has launched a new Centrally Sponsored Scheme namely, “New India Literacy Programme” (NILP) for implementation during five years from the FYs 2022-23 to 2026-27 with financial outlay of Rs. 1037.90 crore out of which Rs. 700.00 crore is Central share and Rs. 337.90 crore is State share. The scheme aims to cover a target of 5.00 crore non-literates in the age group of 15 years and above. The Scheme has five components: (i) Foundational Literacy and Numeracy, (ii) Critical Life Skills, (iii) Vocational Skills Development, (iv) Basic Education and (v) Continuing Education. beneficiaries. 2.2 The Government of India has approved New India Literacy Programme (नव भारत साक्षरता काययक्रम), a new scheme of Education For All (earlier termed as Adult. Education) for the period of FYs 2022-2027 to cover all the aspects of Adult Education to align with National Education Policy 2020 and Union Budget Announcements FY 2021-22. The financial outlay for five years‟ period will be 1037.90 crore out of which Rs. 700 crore is Central share and Rs. 337.90 is State share. 2.2. 1 Broadly, the scheme will be implemented through volunteerism in an online mode. The NILP is intended to align with the National Education Policy 2020 and Union Budget Announcements FY 2021–2022. This may vary depending on location or individual circumstances.

" புதிய பாரத எழுத்தறிவுத் திட்டம் 2022 -27 " செயல்படுத்துதல் கற்போர் , தன்னார்வலர்களைக் கண்டறிதல் - வழிகாட்டு நெறிமுறைகள் வழங்குதல் - சார்பு பள்ளிசாரா மற்றும் வயதுவந்தோர் கல்வி இயக்குநரின் செயல்முறைகள் தமிழ்நாட்டில் , கடந்த 2022-23ஆம் ஆண்டு முதல் , 2011 ஆம் ஆண்டு மக்கள் தொகைக் கணக்கெடுப்பை அடிப்படையாகக் கொண்டு , 15 வயதுக்கு மேற்பட்ட எழுதப்படிக்கத் தெரியாத அனைவருக்கும் அடிப்படை எழுத்தறிவுக் கல்வி வழங்கிடும் வகையில் , புதிய பாரத எழுத்தறிவுத் திட்டமானது முற்றிலும் தன்னார்வல முறையில் , அனைத்து 38 மாவட்டங்களிலும் சிறப்பாகச் செயல்படுத்தப்பட்டு வருகிறது . இத்திட்டத்தின் வாயிலாக கடந்த இரண்டு ஆண்டுகளில் 10 இலட்சம் பேர் தங்களது அடிப்படை எழுத்தறிவுக் கல்வியைப் பெற்று பயனடைந்துள்ளனர் என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்க அம்சமாகும்.

இவ்வாறு பெற்ற கல்வியின் மூலம் அன்றாட வாழ்வில் தற்சார்பு , வாழ்வியல் திறன்களில் மேம்பாடு , சுய வருவாய் ஈட்டுதலில் முன்னேற்றம் , அறிவியல் தொழில் நுட்பம் சார்ந்த நிதி மேலாண்மையில் தெளிவு , அடிப்படைச் சட்டங்களிலும் மற்றும் அரசு சார் திட்டங்களிலும் போதுமான விழிப்புணர்வு போன்ற போன்ற அன்றாட வாழ்க்கைக்குத் தேவையான திறன்களைப்பெற்று இத்திட்டக் கற்போர்கள் பயனடைந்துள்ளனர். தற்போது , பார்வையிற் குறிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ள திட்ட ஏற்பளிப்புக் குழு கூட்ட ஒப்புதல்களின்படி , வருகின்ற 2024-25ஆம் ஆண்டிற்கு தங்கள் மாவட்டம் சார்ந்த அனைத்து ஒன்றியங்களுக்கான கற்போர் மற்றும் தன்னார்வலர்களின் எண்ணிக்கை இலக்கினை உரிய கணக்கெடுப்பின் வாயிலாக நிர்ணயம் செய்ய வேண்டியுள்ளது.
