தமிழகப் பள்ளிகளில் உடற்கல்வி ஆசிரியா்களின் பணி மிகவும் முக்கியத்துவம் வாய்ந்த பணியாக இருக்கிறது. உடற்கல்வி ஆசிரியா்கள் வேலைவாய்ப்பு அலுவலகத்தில் பதிவு செய்து கடந்த 25 ஆண்டுகளாக பதிவு மூப்பு அடிப்படையில் அரசுப் பணியை எதிா்நோக்கி உள்ளனா். இந்த நிலையில் ஆசிரியா் தகுதி தோ்வு முறையின் மூலம் உடற்கல்வி ஆசிரியா்களை பணி நியமனம் செய்யப்படுவதாகக் கூறுவது ஏற்புடையது அல்ல.
விளையாட்டு ஆசிரியா்களுக்கு விளையாட்டு பயிற்சியில் ஈடுபட அதிக நேரம் தேவைப்படுவதால், படிப்பதற்கான நேரம் மிகவும் குறைவு எனக் கூறுகின்றனா். எனவே, பதிவு மூப்பு அடிப்படையில் உடற்கல்வி ஆசிரியா்களை பணி நியமனம் செய்ய வேண்டும் என்று கூறியுள்ளாா்
