Sub: Samagra Shiksha - Establishment of Hi-Tech Labs and Smart Classrooms Computer Based Test for "Administrator cum Instructor" - Reg. Recognizing the paramount importance of upgrading technical infrastructure to equip students for the evolving technological landscape, the Government of Tamil Nadu is establishing 22,931 Smart Boards and 8,209 Hi-Tech labs in Government Schools, marking a shift from traditional teaching methods involving books and blackboards. KELTRON is going to deploy 8,209 Administrator cum Instructor in Hi-Tech Labs established in Government Schools for the operation and maintenance period of 60 months from the date of Go-Live. To ensure the selection of the most capable individuals, the following two-tiered testing process is proposed:

1. Screening Test: A mobile-based test to assess soft technical skills with dynamically generated questions, filtering candidates effectively.

2. Computer-Based Test: For those who pass the screening, a monitored test focused on core skills and academic knowledge to further refine the selection. The Screening Test has been completed by KELTRON. The Computer-Based Test (CBT) is going to be conducted for the selected candidates by KELTRON on 05.06.2024 in all 38 districts in the selected schools as per the annexure.

In this regard, CEOs are instructed to inform the headmasters concerned to be available on 05.06.2024 in the selected schools along with the computer teacher or the teacher in-charge for Hi-Tech lab for smooth running of CBT and also to be available form 03.06.2024 in schools when the L&T Engineers will come to the schools for checking of the working condition of the Hi-Tech labs using the following google forms.
