NHIS-2026: The Department of Treasuries and Accounts has ordered the uploading of Aadhaar details, photographs, categories of persons with disabilities, and family member details into IFHRMS.

Sub: New Health Insurance Scheme, 2026-Updation of Aadhaar details, Photograph, Disability particulars and Family Member details in IFHRMS-Instructions-Reg.

Ref: 1. G.O.Ms.No. 122, Finance (Health Insurance) Department, dated: 24.06.2026.

3. Video Conference Meeting held on 06.07.2026 by the Director of Treasuries and Accounts regarding implementation of New Health Insurance Scheme, 2026.

I invite kind attention to the references cited. It is to inform that the New Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) 2026 has been implemented for a block period of five years with effect from 01/07/2026 to 31/06/2031 vide G.O 1" cited. With regard to the issuance of e-card, the UIIC Limited shall issue IFHRMS ID based e-cards to all the eligible employees and their family members. The e-card shall be made available for download in 60 days from the commencement of the Scheme through the NHIS Portal/ IFHRMS Kalanjiyam App. With regard to this, a Video Conferencing was held on 06.07.2026, conveyed by the Director of Treasuries and Accounts. In this meeting, it was instructed that the all Drawing and Disbursing Officers have to ensure that the employee data maintained in IFHRMS are complete and accurate for the successful implementation of the New Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS), 2026 and generation of NHIS e-Cards.

In this connection, all Drawing and Disbursing Officers are requested to verify and update the below mentioned particulars in the HR entry page of IFHRMS portal in respect of all employees under their control:
