Application Process

The verification process is typically initiated by the appointing authority (e.g., School Education Department or the institution where you are employed) rather than the individual candidate.

Eligibility: Generally intended for employees working in Government and Government-Aided institutions.

Fees: The prescribed fee for a Genuineness Certificate is often around ₹1500. Method of Payment: Fees must usually be paid via a Demand Draft (DD) from a nationalised bank, often drawn in favour of "The Registrar, Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University" or the relevant controlling authority.

Submission: The application, along with the DD and photocopies of relevant marks sheets and provisional/degree certificates, should be sent via registered post to the TNTEU Controller of Examinations.

Photocopy of the TNTET Mark Sheet/Certificate.

Note that as of August 2021, the Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB) has declared that TNTET certificates are valid for life, meaning you do not need to re-verify or re-apply for the certificate itself once issued.
