Cultural Talent Search Scholarship - SPD Proceedings
The Centre for Cultural Resources and Training (CCRT) is implementing Cultural Talent Search Scholarship Scheme (CTSSS) since 1982 at National level.
What is the amount of cultural talent search scholarship scheme?
Rs.3600/- per year
The value of scholarship is Rs. 3600/- per year for the scholarship holder, in addition to reimbursement of the actual tuition fee paid to the Guru/Teacher, up to a ceiling of Rs. 9000/- per year
Who is eligible for CCRT scholarship?
Only students between 10-14 years of age can apply. Candidates must have a proficiency degree in their preferred choice of traditional arts to be eligible for specialized training. A minimum of 5 years of professional training in the specified field is required to avail of the CCRT scholarship.
What is the scholarship for CCRT children?
Each scholar is paid Rs. 5000/- (Rs. Five thousand only) per month for a period of two years to cover his/her living expenses on travelling, books, art material or other equipment and tuition or training charges etc
