Subject: Advisory for Biometric Exception in NEET (UG)-2026-reg.
National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test [NEET (UG)]-2026 exam on 03.05.2026.
On the day of examination, after completion of frisking process, every candidate has to undergo the mandatory Biometric process before entry of exam room.
If the biometric verification of a candidate cannot be completed due to device hardware failure/poor quality of biometric data/connectivity failure with UIDAI/physical inability to provide biometric data, the candidate will still be permitted to enter the examination room. However, they must submit a written undertaking. The format for this undertaking will be provided at the examination centre. The candidates shall NOT be disturbed during the exam period 02:00 to 05:00 PM (up to 06:00 PM in case of expected PwD/PwBD candidates) for biometric process.
