Instruction of the Election Commission of India given in the Handbook of SOP for Last 72 Hours.

****k***k**** In pursuant to the instructions given in the reference, I am to request you to make following arrangements at all polling stations for smooth conduct of election.

1) Suitable arrangements for accommodation, furniture, food, drinking water, toilet facilities along with electricity for the polling personnel have to be made. 2) Special arrangements for female and PwD polling personnel have to be made with due regard to their privacy.

3) Local Self Help Groups (SHG) or Mid-Day meal workers may be mobilized to provide food to the polling personnel as per requirement on payment basis.

4) Arrangements for bedroll etc. may also be provided through local SHGs on rental

5) To open a butter milk stall at all polling stations for all the voters.

6) To arrange 'Samiyana' facility at all the polling stations for the voters to protect them from the sun light/Heat stroke.
