Kind attention is invited to the references cited.

It is hereby informed that the IT web portal and Mobile Application for the New Health Insurance Scheme for Employees and Pensioners have been developed by the United India Insurance Company Limited to enable effective monitoring and increase the transparency in the implementation of the NHIS scheme and facilitate seamless provision of services to the Employees and Pensioners.

Further it is also informed that the Website and Mobile Application were launched by the Honorable Minister for Finance and Human Resource Management on 27.02.2024 in the presence of the Principal Secretary to Government, Finance Department. The web portal and the application can be used for various purposes some of which are enlisted below:

1. To download the NHIS E-Card by the beneficiaries.

2. To monitor how much of the sum insured has been already utilized and how much balance available.

3. To know the hospitals empanelled under the NHIS schemes. b) 4. To know the benefits of the NHIS scheme and the Government Orders.

5. To disseminate any circulars and notifications issued regarding NHIS in the future.

6. The contact details of the District Coordinators, Nodal Officers and Treasury Officers are also given for any kind of Grievance Redressal.

The following steps are to be followed to login into the web portal and the application: a) Web Portal address - https://tn-nhis.com

Mobile App can be downloaded from the Google Play Store (Tamil Nadu NHIS)

1(a) For Employees User ID is the Beneficiary's NHIS ID Card Number For Example KAL I 01 I TG409 | NHIS21 \ 3896502 should be entered as "KALO1TG4093896502".

It is to be noted that the NHIS ID Card Number should be entered without any symbols and the scheme year.

1(b) For Pensioners User ID is the Pensioner's PPO Number without any suffix 2. If the beneficiary's NHIS ID Card number is not known, it can be alternatively found using the option "Get my Employee ID" by entering one of the following:

a. Beneficiary's Date of Birth, Date of Joining and Date of Retirement

OR

b. Beneficiary's GPF/CPS/PPO Number as the case may be. 3.Password To login into the web portal or the Mobile application, the password is the Date of Birth of the Beneficiary in the Format "DD-MM-YYYY".

Even after following the above steps, if some issues persist in logging in to the portal or the Mobile application, the beneficiaries are given a contact number "044 4011 5088" for redressal of grievances.

The Treasury Oficers, Pension Pay Officer and Pay and Accounts Officers are hereby requested to disseminate the above guidelines to the sub ordinate offices, employees and pensioners for the removal of difficulties to the beneficiaries in using the web portal and the mobile application.
