வித்யாதன் என்பது சரோஜினி தாமோதரன் அறக்கட்டளையால் வழங்கப்படும் ஒரு இந்திய உயர்கல்வி உதவித்தொகையாகும் , இது குமாரி ஷிபுலால் மற்றும் எஸ் டி ஷிபுலால் ( இன்ஃபோசிஸ் இணை நிறுவனர் மற்றும் முன்னாள் தலைமை நிர்வாக அதிகாரி ) ஆகியோரால் நிறுவப்பட்டது . பின்தங்கிய குடும்பங்களைச் சேர்ந்த ஊனமுற்ற மாணவர்களின் உயர்கல்விக்கு ஆதரவளிக்க ஒரு பிரத்யேக முயற்சியைத் தொடங்கியுள்ளது. தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்ட மாணவர்கள் பட்டப் படிப்புகளைத் தொடர ஆண்டுக்கு ரூ .15,000 முதல் ரூ , 75,000 வரை உதவித்தொகை பெறத் தகுதியுடையவர்கள் . மேலும் அவர்கள் பட்டப்படிப்பை முடித்தவுடன் வேலைவாய்ப்புதிறன் பயிற்சியும் அளிக்கப்படும்.

Sarojini Damodaran Foundation (SDF) is a non-profit organization set up by Mr. S.D. Shibulal (Co-Founder & Ex. CEO, Infosys) and Mrs. Kumari Shibulal (Patron) in 1999. We are glad to inform you that we have launched our prestigious Vidyadhan Scholarship Scheme (www.vidyadhan.org) for the students of Tamil Nadu in 2016 and Puducherry State in 2017. Currently, we have over 8000 students in our program across 17 States in India. In the States so far, we have given 33200 scholarships and have many Doctors, Engineers, Nurses, etc., among our alumni. We aim to scale Vidyadhan to 1,00,000 scholarships covering most states/UTs of India within the next 4 -5 years. Vidyadhan Scholarship Program has initiated V-able 2023, A degree scholarship for Students with Disabilities. Students who have joined a degree program this year (2023) can apply. The scholarship is for Students with 40% or more disabilities from economically backward families with an annual income below Rupees 4 lakhs. The students should have passed their 12th examination with more than 60% or 6 CGPA and joined a degree course in 2023.The scholarship is for 3 to 4 years, depending on the course duration and the student's performance in the course. The scholarship amount for graduation courses varies from Rs 10,000 to Rs 75,000 per year depending on the course and duration. The selected students will be required to attend the mentoring programs from the Foundation.
