Under Rule 4(2) of the IAS (Cadre) Rules, 1954, sanction is accorded for the creation of a temporary post of Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Animal Husbandry, Dairying, Fisheries and Fishermen Welfare Department in the Chief Secretary Grade for a period of one year with effect from the date of appointment or till the need for it ceases, whichever is earlier.
2. Under Rule 4(2) of the IAS (Cadre) Rules, 1954, sanction is accorded for the creation of a temporary post of Secretary to Government, Backward Classes, Most Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare Department in the Super Time Scale of IAS for a period of one year with effect from the date of appointment, or till the need for it ceases, whichever is earlier.

4. The services of Thiru Vishu Mahajan, IAS, Deputy Commissioner (Revenue & Finance), Greater Chennai Corporation are placed at the disposal of Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation Limited (TANGEDCO) for appointment as its Joint Managing Director (Finance) in the post previously held by Thiru Prashant M. Wadnere, IAS.
5. The services of Thiru Anand Mohan, IAS, Commissioner, Corporation of Nagercoil are placed at the disposal of Greater Chennai Corporation for appointment as its Deputy Commissioner (Revenue & Finance) vice Thiru Vishu Mahajan, IAS.
6. The services of Thiru A. Annadurai, IAS, Project Director, Tamil Nadu Road Sector Project, Project Director, Chennai-Kanniyakumari Industrial Corridor (FAC) and Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Road Development Company are placed at the disposal of Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation for appointment as its Managing Director vice Dr. S. Prabhakar, IAS. 7. The services of Dr. S. Prabhakar, IAS, Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation are placed at the disposal of Tamil Nadu Road Sector Project for appointment as its Project Director vice Thiru A. Annadurai, IAS. He shall also hold full additional charge of the post of Project Director, Chennai-Kanniyakumari Industrial Corridor (FAC) and also function as Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Road Development Company.
8. The Government direct that Thiru K. Elambahavath, IAS Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Text Book and Educational Services Corporation shall hold full additional charge of the post of Officer on Special Duty, Magalir Urimaithogai Project.
9. The Government direct that Tmt. Archana Patnaik, IAS, Chairperson, Teachers Recruitment Board shall hold full additional charge of the post of Chairman, Medical Services Recruitment Board vice Thiru Mangat Ram Sharma, IAS, holding additional charge.
10. The Government direct that Dr. N. Subbaiyan, IAS, Registrar of Cooperative Societies shall hold full additional charge of the post of Officer on Special Duty, Kalaignar Centenary Function.
11. Under Rule 12(1) of the IAS (Pay) Rules, 2016, the Government declare that the posts of Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Animal Husbandry, Dairying, Fisheries and Fishermen Welfare Department in the Chief Secretary Grade created in para 1 above be equivalent in status and responsibilities to the cadre post of "Chief Secretary" specified in Schedule II- A of the IAS (Pay) Rules, 2016.
12. Under Rule 12(1) of the IAS (Pay) Rules, 2016, the Government declare that the post of Secretary to Government, Backward Classes, Most Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare Department in the Super Time Scale of IAS created in para 2 above be equivalent in status and responsibilities to the cadre post of "Secretary to Government" specified in Schedule II-A of the IAS (Pay) Rules, 2016. 13.
