The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission in its Notification No.18/2022 dated 29.07.2022 had invited applications for selection of candidates for appointment by direct recruitment to the posts of Field Surveyor; Draftsman included in Tamil Nadu
Survey and Land Records Subordinate Service and Surveyor-cum-Assistant Draughtsman in Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Subordinate Service. The Written examination was held on 06.11.2022 F.N. & A.N. and results published on 15.02.2023.
2) In order to fill up the 1338 vacancies for the above said posts, the candidates were summoned for the Physical Certificate Verification and Counselling in the ratio of 1:2. The Physical Certificate Verification and Counselling had been conducted from 06.03.2023 F.N and A.N. to 11.03.2023 F.N and A.N at the O/o. Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, TNPSC Road, (Near Broadway Bus Stand and Fort Railway Station) VOC Nagar, Chennai – 600 003. 3) Out of 1338 vacancies, 1206 vacancies have been filled. During the counselling, due to non availability of the candidates in some reservation categories, 132 vacancies have not been filled. The 132 unfilled vacancies will be filled in the 2nd phase of counselling, and the date of counselling will be informed later. The reservation category wise details of unfilled vacancies are available in the Commission website (www.tnpsc.gov.in).
