Sub: Loans and Advances - Two Wheeler, Four Wheeler, Computer, Handloom, Khadi and other Loans and Advances – Letter along with annexure for Distribution of funds - Requested – Reg.

Ref: G.O.Ms.No.52, Finance [Budget Co-Ordination] Dept, Dt.25.02.2026.

It is well aware that, this department is entrusted with the responsibility of allotting fund for sanction of advance for the Purchase of Motor Car, Two Wheeler, Computer, Handloom, Khadi and other loans to the Government employees.

In the reference 1 st cited, Government has allotted funds for the year 2026-2027 for the above Advances to Tamilnadu Government Servants.

In this regard, the following procedure may kindly be followed while sending requisition letter for the allotment of funds for the financial year 2026-2027 to this office.

1)Enclosing the annexure is mandatory

Departments and applicant particulars has to be duly filled up in complete shape. All the HOD’s and District Collectors are requested to send the consolidated letter after obtaining requisition from the subordinate officers under their control. The requisitions received directly by the subordinate officers for the purchase of Motor Car, Two Wheeler, Computer, Handloom and Khadi need not be considered for allocation of funds to 2026-2027 at our end.

2)Separate requisition letter for allotment of funds

The requisition letter for allotment of funds along with annexure in the prescribed format for each of loans and advance separately as and when applications received from the subordinate officers under your control, so as to avoid request at the far end of the financial year.

3)Eligibility Criteria

The revised quantum of advance for the purchase of motor cars and motorized Two wheelers and the ceiling enhanced by 5% over the period of financial year 2025-2026 ordered as per G.O.Ms.No.27, Finance(Salaries) Dept. dt.20.01.2021 may be followed and it may be ensured that the individual when applied is entitled for the advance as per the above Government Order. 4)Requisition of allotment of funds

Requisition of allotment of funds for every type of loans and advance should be rounded to the nearest ten rupees so as to transfer the funds through IFHRMS. Allotment of funds will distributed to the HOD’s/District Collectors only through IFHRMS.

5)Drawl and disbursement of loans and advance

Funds to be utilized within the due date mentioned in the allotment letter so as to avoid revalidation of the same to the extent possible.

Certified that the individual mentioned above is entitled for the advance requested by him/her and the particulars furnished above are verified and found correct. The request for funds was not made for the above individual for the said advance during the financial year 2025 -2026.
