From the Director of School Education, Letter Na.Ka.No.24927/A1/S4/2024, dated 18.12.2024.

ORDER:-

In the letter read above, the Director of School Education has stated that as per G.O. (Ms) No.738, Education Department, Dated 10.07.1985, the Annual Confidential Report of the personnel working under Tamil Nadu School Educational Service viz., Directors, Joint Directors, Chief Educational Officers, District Educational Officers, High School Headmasters and Chief Inspector of Physical Education (Men and Women) are being written/ scrutinized / maintained. Consequent on the restructuring of administrative set up in the School Education Department vide G.O. (Ms) No.151, School Education [SE1(1)] Department, Dated 09.09.2022, Teachers Recruitment Board vide G.O. (Ms) No.1, School Education (TRB) Department, dated 03.01.2023 and State Council of Educational Research and Training vide G.O. (Ms) No.176, School Education (ERT) Department, Dated 09.10.2023, the posts of Director & Equivalent / Joint Director / Chief Educational Officer & Equivalent / District Educational Officer & Equivalent/Chief Inspector of Physical Education (Men and Women) Posts were sanctioned in the School Education Department. 2. The Director of School Education has now requested to issue orders to redefine the following appropriate authority for Reporting / Reviewing Accepting / Custodian authority of Annual Confidential Report based on the restructuring administrative set up in School Education Department, Teachers Recruitment Board and State Council of Educational Research and Training.

3. The Government after careful examination of the proposal of Director of School Education decided to accept the same and hereby fix the authorities for approval of Confidential Reports as stated in the Table at paragraph 2 above for A and B Group Officers of State Service under the Special Rules for Tamil Nadu School Educational Service in School Education Department.
