JUDICATUR ORDER
The prayer in the writ petition is to declare the impugned clause viz., " the following categories of candidates should write the Teacher Eligibility Test. The Secondary Grade and Graduate Teachers (B Assistant) appointed with the prescribed qualifications in Government, Government Aided and Un-aided Schools on or after 23rd August, 2010" at clause 2 of the impugned prospectus dated 7.3.2012 for Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TNTET), 2012 issued by the second respondent, would not be applicable to the members of the petitioner.

When the matter was called, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that during the pendency of the the writ petition, Teachers Recruitment Board issued Corrigendum to Advertisement No.04/2012 published towards Teachers Eligibility Test in the newspapers on 7.3.2012, stating that the persons whose appointment process has been initiated prior to NCTE notification dated 23.8.2010, are exempted from appearing the Teachers Eligibility Test. He has also submitted that the Chairman of the Teachers Recruitment Board gave written instructions dated 5.7.2012 to report this fact before this Court and the writ petition may be disposed of recording the said statement.
3. In view of the said stand taken by the Teachers Recruitment Board and in view of the Corrigendum issued during the pendency of the writ petition, the relief sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous.
5. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
