Appointment - Temporary post of Industries Commissioner and Director of

Industries and Commerce in the Senior Scale of IAS - Sanctioned.

Transfers and postings - Tmt. Archana Patnaik, IAS; Thiru L. Nirmalraj, IAS;

Tmt. Pooja Kulkarni, IAS; and Thiru Har Sahay Meena, IAS Notified.

ORDER:

Under Rule 4 (2) of the IAS (Cadre) Rules, 1954, sanction is accorded for the creation of a temporary post of Principal Secretary / Commissioner of Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection in the Higher Administrative Grade of IAS for a period of one year with effect from the date of appointment, or till the need for it ceases, whichever is earlier. 2. Under Rule 4 (2) of the IAS (Cadre) Rules, 1954, sanction is accorded for the creation of a temporary post of Industries Commissioner and Director of Industries and Commerce in the Senior Scale of IAS for a period of one year with effect from the date of appointment, or till the need for it ceases, whichever is earlier.

3. The following transfers and postings are notified:-

(1) Tmt. Archana Patnaik, IAS, Industries Commissioner and Director of Industries and Commerce is transferred and posted as Secretary to Government, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Department vice Thiru V. Arun Roy, IAS;

(ii) Thiru L. Nirmalraj, IAS, Director of Geology and Mining is transferred and posted as Industries Commissioner and Director of Industries and Commerce in the post created in para 2 above vice Tmt. Archana Patnaik, IAS;

(iii) Tmt. Pooja Kulkarni, IAS, Commissioner of Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection is transferred and posted as Commissioner of Geology and Mining vice Thiru L. Nirmalraj, IAS; and (iv) Thiru Har Sahay Meena, IAS, Principal Secretary / Commissioner of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj (Training) is transferred and posted as Principal Secretary / Commissioner of Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection in the post created in para 1 above vice Tmt. Pooja Kulkarni, IAS.

4. Under Rule 12 (1) of the IAS (Pay) Rules, 2016 the Government declare that the temporary post of Principal Secretary / Commissioner of Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection created in the para 1 above be equivalent in status and responsibilities to the cadre post of "Principal Secretary to Government" specified in Schedule II-A of the IAS (Pay) Rules, 2016. 5. Under Rule 12 (1) of the IAS (Pay) Rules, 2016 the Government declare that the Industries Commissioner and Director of Industries and Commerce created in para 2 above be equivalent in status and responsibilities to the cadre post of "Director of Social Welfare" specified in Schedule II-B of the IAS (Pay) Rules, 2016.
