The salient features of the Namma School - Namma Ooru Palli Portal:

The Namma School - Namma Ooru Palli Portal is developed in such a way that it displays the 147 different items that a school need. It is dynamic in such a way that it could accommodate the changing needs of the Government Schools through the Head Masters, in which required additional needs can be added abd the same would be deducted automatically once it is fulfilled to eradicate duplicity. The mapping of all the schools is done and incorporated in the Educational Management and Information System (EMIS). The virtual school Pavilion is also enabled in the portal for the donors to get a grasp of the implementing projects being carried out at School level for which they have made donation against by visualizing before, ongoing and after completion pictures and videos in a panoramic view. Every user has dash board of his/her own to track the status of their donated project. The donor is issued with 80G & 12A tax exemption certificate automatically sent via their registered email ID with a thank you message and will be kept abreast of the stages of work carried out by the Department.

The amount which has been received from NSNOP has to be sent to all school NSNOP SNA account. So, we need to create a separate SNA based account for all schools. Regarding this we already sent a proceeding to all the Districts vide Rc.NO 0260/B6/NS-NOP/2022, Dated on 23/01/2023 cited in reference 2 which stipulates roles & responsibility as defined for SMC and DLC.

In this connection we request all Chief Educational Officers to instruct the DEOS, BEOS, District Coordinators, Block Supervisors, Block Accountants, and BRTES to coordinate with Canara Bank Regional Officers (ROS) and get KYC for Maker and Checker of each school. It should be verified and submitted to the concerned ROS by BRTES and Block Accountants, and also, we request all Chief Educational Officers to conduct meeting with DEOS, BEOS, District Coordinators, Block Supervisors, and ROS to plan and execute to open NSNOP SNA account in a seamless manner. BRTES from the concerned CRC are responsible for collecting KYC, Waiver Form and CAN Digital Form for concerned Government School. SMC accountants are responsible for collecting and verifying KYC, Waiver Form and CAN Digital Form for concerned block and to be submitted to Canar Bank branch within 10 days from the receipt of this proceeding. Block Supervisors are responsible for monitoring BRTES and SMC accountants by monitoring them to collect data and submit to bank, to plan and execute to open NSNOP SNA account.

DEOS, BEOS and DCs are responsible for monitoring and coordinating with bank ROS at District level and furnishing the details for State level and updating the google sheet then and there.
