Dear Monitoring Officers,
Sub: Monitoring Officers - Review meeting held on 31.10.2022 - Minutes of the meeting communicated Follow up action requested Next Meeting of Monitoring Officers on 30.11.2022- Intimation - Regarding.
Ref: 1. The Chief Secretary to Government D.O.Letter addressed to all Monitoring Officers No.1034/SPI(M)/2022, Special Programme Implementation Department, dated:08.07.2022
2. The Chief Secretary to Government D.O.Letter addressed to all Monitoring Officers No.1034/SPI(M)/2022, Special Programme Implementation Department, dated: 12.08.2022, 14.09.2022 and 07.10.2022
I invite your kind attention to the references cited.
2. The Minutes of the Monitoring Officers review meeting conducted on 31.10.2022 is enclosed for your reference and follow up action.
3. Further, the revised list of schemes that may be prioritized for review and inspection during visits to the allotted district for the month of November 2022 is enclosed in Annexure.
4. In respect of Priority Schemes that are continued for November 2022 also, Review Formats have already been communicated to the Monitoring Officers vide D.O letter first cited. However, the same is enclosed again for ready reference. In respect of the newly added schemes, formats will be prepared in consultation with the concerned Departments and will be sent separately by Special Programme Implementation Department.
5. For the month of November 2022, the following schemes are to be prioritized by the Monitoring officers (Newly added)
1. North East Monsoon response
2. ICDS/Anganwadi with special focus on LL 20 Goш/ severely malnourished children and Integration between Health Department and ICDS
3. Illam Thedi Kalvi 6. The Monitoring Officers are also requested to visit the following, in addition to Taluk/Block offices/Regional Transport Offices.
a. At least one hostel each of various Welfare departments in the districts
b. Checking the availability of drugs in Medical College Hospital/Government Hospital/Primary Health Centre by sample.
7. Further, I have proposed to conduct the next meeting with all the Monitoring Officers on 30.11.2022 at 04.00 P.M at the Old Conference Hall, 2nd Floor, Old Building, Secretariat, Chennai-9. Therefore, I request you to undertake field inspection of your allotted district during this month, and give your feedback and observations made in the field about the design and implementation of the various Schemes/Office Inspections in the above meeting.
8. I also request you to send your inspection report in the prescribed format to Special Programme Implementation department before 25.11.2022 for compilation and presentation.
