In the reference second read above, the Principal Secretary to Government, Higher Education Department has sent the minutes of the 10th Equivalence Committee meeting held on 28.10.2021 for taking necessary action on the following resolutions passed by the above committee in respect of the degrees awarded by Tamil University. In the Resolution No.16 and 17 the Equivalence Committee has resolved to recommend as follows:- Resolution No.

Subjects Equivalence Committee Recommendations 16 Services - Educational Public Qualification - Completion of initial 3 years study M.A., Tamil (5 Year Integrated Programme) offered by Tamil University as to whether equivalent to B.A., Tamil for the purpose of employment in Public Services. Equivalent 2 17 Public Services Qualification Jxx Educational Consideration of M.A., Tamil (5 Year Integrated Programme) offered by Tamil University as to whether equivalent to M.A., Tamil for the purpose of employment in Public Services.

Equivalent 2. The Government, after careful consideration, have decided to accept the recommendations of the 10th Equivalence Committee, in respect of the courses offered by Tamil University, Thanjavur. Accordingly the Government direct that the following courses offered by Tamil University, Thanjavur as equivalent to B.A., Tamil and M.A., Tamil for the purpose of employment in Public Services:- Sl.
