Heard Mr.A.L.Somayaji, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioners.

2. The exercise directed to be undertaken by the learned Judge can go on. But final selection list shall not be issued, the petitioners' position as District Educational Officer shall also not be disturbed till then. It goes without saying that the rights of the parties would abide by the outcome of the writ appeal.

3. Mr.Nedunchezhiyan, learned counsel takes notice for the 1 st respondent. Mr.J.C.Durairaj, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 2 and 4 and Mr.R.Bharanidaran, learned counsel takes notice for the 5th respondent.
