Cinemas Tamil Nadu Cinemas (Regulation) Rules, 1957 Permission to conduct a special show to screen the film titled "LEO" on 19.10.2023, 20.10.2023, 21.10.2023, 22.10.2023, 23.10.2023 and 24.10.2023 in the permitted theatres all over Tamil Nadu Orders Issued Instructions issued.

I am directed to enclose a copy of the Government order third cited, wherein permission was accorded to conduct a Special show for the film titled "LEO" on 19.10.2023, 20.10.2023, 21.10.2023, 22.10.2023, 23.10.2023 and 24.10.2023 (i.e. maximum five shows per day), in relaxation of condition 14-A of Form 'C' licence, subject to the condition that the licensees should intimate the Licensing Authorities and other Tax levying Authorities concerned having jurisdiction over the place of exhibition in advance. 2. In the Government order second cited, among others, orders were issued permitting the permanent and semi-permanent cinema theatres in Tamil Nadu to conduct an extra show on 11.1.2023, 12.1.2023, 13.1.2023 and 18.1.2023 at 9.00 AM in connection with the "Pongal Festival Week".
3. Accordingly, I am directed to request all the Licensing Authorities to issue necessary instructions to the Cinema theatres ["C Form" Licensees] in Tamil Nadu under your jurisdiction, to allow screening of one special show for the Tamil film titled "LEO" on 19.10.2023, 20.10.2023, 21.10.2023, 22.10.2023, 23.10.2023 and 24.10.2023 (i.e maximum 5 shows per day). All Theatres can screen only one special show, opening show will start at 9:00am and last show will end at 1.30am.
4. I am also to direct that all the licensing authorities to follow the directions given in the Government letter first cited, wherein directions have been given to the Licensing Authorities under the Tamil Nadu Cinemas (Regulation) Act, 1955 and Rules, 1957, to constitute a Special team in their jurisdiction to monitor the violations of provisions relating to the rates of admission in cinema theatres in the Tamil Nadu Cinemas (Regulation) Rules, 1957 and the Tamil Nadu Entertainments Tax Act, 1939. 5. I am therefore to direct all the Licensing Authorities to follow the above instructions scrupulously, during the screening of Special show for the film titled "LEO" on 19.10.2023, 20.10.2023, 21.10.2023, 22.10.2023, 23.10.2023 and 24.10.2023 and to take necessary action to ensure proper safety and security of public and audience visiting cinema halls, regulating proper traffic and parking arrangements and to prevent charging at exorbitant rates of admission during such shows of Tamil film titled "LEO", in accordance with the condition 14-A, of Form "C" licence under the Tamil Nadu Cinemas (Regulation) Rules, 1957 and also to take action against any violations if found in this regard and to send an action taken report to Government, immediately.

அதன்படி காலை 9 மணிக்கு பின்னர்தான் திரையரங்குகளில் காட்சிகளை தொடங்க வேண்டும் எனவும் இரவு 1.30 மணிக்குள்ளாக காட்சிகளை முடித்துக் கொள்ள வேண்டும் என்றும் உத்தரவு இடப்பட்டுள்ளது.
விதிகளை மீறி, அதிகாலை காட்சி திரையிட்டதால் ₹2,000 அபராதம் விதிக்கப்பட்ட உத்தரவை எதிர்த்து சென்னை ரோஹிணி திரையரங்கு தொடர்ந்த வழக்குகளைத் தள்ளுபடி செய்து சென்னை உயர் நீதிமன்றம் உத்தரவு!
கடந்த ஆண்டு பொங்கல் தினத்தன்று 4 காட்சிகள் திரையிட அனுமதிக்கப்பட்ட நிலையில், ஒரு காட்சி கூடுதலாக திரையிடப்பட்டதாகக் குற்றம்சாட்டப்பட்டு ரோஹிணி திரையரங்கிற்கு அபராதம் விதிக்கப்பட்டது!
