நியாய விலை கடைகளில் கைரேகை பதிவு கருவியை முறையாக சீரமைக்க வலியுறுத்தல்
வரும் 17ம் தேதிக்குள் அனைத்து நியாய விலை கடைகளிலும் கைவிரல் ரேகை பதிவு செய்யும் கருவி இருப்பதை உறுதி செய்ய வேண்டும்- தமிழக அரசு அறிவிப்பு Kalaingar Mahalir Urimai Thittam - Supply of Biometric Scan Device - Instructions - Reg.

Guidelines for smooth and safe transmission of devices required for carrying out e-KYC of applicants under Kalaingar Mahalir Urimai Thittam from fair price shops and its return are enclosed in for immediate action.
Receipt of this reference should be acknowledged by next mail.
Instructions for the Supply of Biometric Scanner
1) Finger Print Readers that are now being put in use at fair price shop level will be required for e-KYC authentication during the camps held for processing applications under "Kalaingnar Magalir Urimai Thittam"
2) Deputy Commissioners (North & South)/ District Supply and Consumer Protection Officers shall ensure that required number of biometric devices from fair price shop are made available.
3) Finger print readers are to be collected and handed over in working condition on or before 17th July 2023. 4) Every finger print reader has its own serial number (ID). Hence the list of finger print readers should be prepared with shop code and related serial number of the finger print reader and it should be ensured that it is returned back to the same shop. Proper acknowledgements have to be obtained from both ends without fail.
5) Deputy Commissioners (North & South)/ The District Supply and Consumer Protection Officers are responsible for arranging the required numbers of finger print readers required from fair price shops by the Additional Chief Secretary/Commissioner, Greater Chennai Corporation / District Collector (except Chennai).
6) A separate register should be maintained by DC / DSO office for maintaining the details of ID numbers and shop codes in respect of devices taken from the fair price shops which are to be returned to same shop under proper acknowledgement after completion of the enumeration special camps.
7) Regular monitoring by Deputy Commissioners (North & South)/ District Supply and Consumer Protection Officers is required to ensure the proper functioning of the biometric scanners and its return in the working condition.
