The Teachers Recruitment Board published the Notification No.01/2023 dated 05.06.2023 for the post of Block Educational Officer in the Directorate of Elementary Education under Tamil Nadu Elementary Education Subordinate Service for the year 2019-2020 to 2021-2022. Under the heading Age Limit (as on 01.07.2023) in para 4 Qualifications, the Maximum age limit prescribed for appointment by direct recruitment is increased by 2 years in respect of
1. For General category: - Age limit has been increased from 40 years to 42 years
2. For BC, BCM, MBC/DNC, SC, SCA, ST and DW: - Age limit has been increased from 45 years to 47 years.
3. For Different Abled Persons: - Age limit has been increased from 50 years to 52 years. As per section 64 of Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act 2016
As per G.O.(Ms) No.91, Human Resources Management (S) Department, dated 13.09.2021
