The attention of Treasury Officers and Pension Pay Officer.
Chennai are drawn to the references cited In the reference 2 cited, the United India Insurance Company Limited has been permitted to issue the ID Cards to the Pensioners based on the data base shared through IFHRMS without incorporating their photos in the ID Card. Accordingly, the United India Insurance Company Limited has issued the New Health Insurance Scheme 2022 ID Cards to the Pensioners and the same was informed to the Government vide reference 3º cited
The Pensioners Associations are now representing to issue the Insurance ID Cards with the photos of the Pensioner and the spouse and also carry out necessary corrections wherever needed.
At present the United India Insurance Company Limited is under the process of developing an End to End IT Solution Software and Mobile App exclusively for the welfare of New Health Insurance Scheme Employees and Pensioners and it will be launched shortly In the Web-site, it has been requested to incorporate a provision to generate the insurance e-Cards by the user and also to provide facility to upload the Pensioners Photos and corrections wherever needed.
In the reference 4" cited, the United India Insurance Company Limited has stated that provision for uploading of photograph in the web portal directly by the beneficiaries cannot be provided as it may be misused. However sufficient Annexure Forms can be provided so that the data can be submitted by the Pensioner Received Annexure Forms will be scanned and photographs will be uploaded in the NHIS portal enabling the beneficiary to download the E-card In this regard, it was decided that corrections and photos uploading be carried out by United India Insurance Company Limited. The United India Insurance Company Limited has also been requested to issue Pensioners ID Card Annexure Forms to all the Treasury Offices and Pension Office, so as to issue the same to the Pensioners whenever they come for mustering in the respective Offices United India Insurance Company shall carry out the necessary corrections and uploading the photographs in E-Card. This will facilitate the Pensioners to download the NHS E-Card from the web-portal
Therefore, the Treasury Officers and Pension Pay Officer are requested to contact the New Health Insurance Scheme Nodal Officer of the respective Districts and obtain the required Pensioners ID Card Annexure Forms for their Districts. The filled forms should be handed over to the United India Insurance Company Limited under proper acknowledgement, so as enable them to upload the Pensioners photographs and to maske necessary corrections wherever needed This should be treated as most urgent
